Handmade Philly Book Exchange
Here’s my “book” for the Handmade Philly Book Exchange project. I’ll be sending it out to another participant soon! You can read more about the project on our group blog.
I decided to interpret the idea of a book quite loosely (literally) and use a bunch of index cards in a box. I originally planned to use a plastic index card holder box that I bought, but had some technical difficulties with getting spraypaint to stick to the plastic. I then thought I could stick some nice mulberry paper to the box over top of the spraypaint flakes, but that didn’t work either. So I gave up and just made my own box out of illustration board and bookbinding tape.
