Art House Co-op!
I finally got around to checking out the website of Art House Co-op after hearing about it from a few other artists. I’m really glad to have found it- looks like a great resource for interesting collaborative projects. They create “massive, nationwide art projects that tie hundreds of artists together – and anyone can participate.” I love the idea of art as something open and participatory, and I’ve been thinking about finding more collaborative projects to participate in. I might do the Million Little Pictures project (Artists from all around the world will take photos in hopes of preserving the world in 2010. We will host an exhibition creating a world within a world and then one photo from each artist will be put into a time capsule to be opened in 15 years.) I LOVE the time capsule idea.
