Starting off the month with the most boring photo yet! It was creeping up on midnight when I realized I had completely forgotten to get a photo for the day. So, of all the interesting things in my apartment I decided to photograph the new storage bins for my collage materials. Why? I don’t know. They were there. I spent a lot of time last weekend rearranging things in my tiny “studio,” which is about 10 x 10 feet and is really supposed to be a “foyer.” However tiny, it is also the largest dedicated art/office space I’ve ever had and I love it. It just requires some careful planning to make sure everything is arranged in a functional manner. I realized that my collage materials were somewhat inaccessible so I got some new containers and moved them to a different shelf. I also appropriated part of the bedroom for a sewing area, because I’m never going to get around to achieving my mission of making my own clothes if my sewing machine is stuck under my desk collecting dust!
