DailyPhoto 06-27-09 (wandering)

Today I took the train downtown and walked from 30th St. Station to 50th & Baltimore and back, taking lots of photos. There’s something pleasing about wandering randomly and looking for interesting things to photograph. It makes me very aware of the details of my surroundings, and also aware of how much I just filter out on a daily basis out of necessity. You can’t go around noticing every little detail of things every day. I got about 200 new photos, some of which are good on their own and will be posted on my site sometime soon, and some which are just source materials that will appear in new digital collages at some point.
