Gocco!
I finally got around to actually doing something with my fancypants Gocco printing machine that I bought ages ago! I think I was a little intimitated by it, and didn’t want to waste screens and bulbs on making something crappy, but I finally got over that. I printed an image of a tree (from a photo) on some old computer punch cards. I stupidly taped the two halves of the image together, so that part of the image didn’t show up on the screen since it uses the carbon in the printout to imprint the screen. But it looks kind of cool anyway. I’m probably going to end up adding some paint and drawing to these rather than just selling them as straight prints. The Gocco was actually really easy to use, and now that I’ve finally actually used the damn thing maybe I’ll start making more stuff with it!
