New Etsy Treasuries!

I’m in three more beautiful treasuries this week!

First, “Go GREEN” curated by ristowkl who has some really nice jewelry for sale. They definitely have an eye for color!

Featuring my digital collage “Rooted

Next up is “Verses of Rumi” which is curated by petritent, whose shop was already one of my favorites! I love their minimalist landscape photos. This treasury is so nice- all the pieces are quite different, yet they harmonize so well.

This treasury features my mixed-media painting/collage/assemblage “Electricity-Memory.” I love this piece, which dates all the way back to my Rome/Tyler days. Well, I think I actually finished it sometime after I graduated in 1999, but some of the images are from paintings/collages that I made when I was studying in Rome in 1998. Those images were scanned and printed out on clear acetate and later incorporated into this piece. It includes an actual electrical outlet, wires, and glass beads.

Last is “The Soft Tones,” curated by JKphotography. I especially love this print from their shop: In the Cold Light of Day. I think I might start collecting tree images from other artists. Trees keep coming up in my own work, and it’s interesting to see how others use them.
This treasury is another one with disparate objects that are held together by beautiful color combinations.

This one features my collage “Falling Weightless.” I have no idea what the phrase “falling weightless” is supposed to mean. It popped into my head one morning as I woke. Maybe I was dreaming about flying, although more often I dream about falling, and certainly not weightlessly.
